Tragic Love.

I love her.  Her with him was just dynamite.  Her stye was timeless with a touch of the severe and always memorable.  It's a shame we never got to see what would have happened with this couple.

One More Omen of Doom? Mad Men Thus Far

The first episode of season five was sexy, focusing heavily on the young, free-spirited 26 year old Megan vs. 40 year old Don.  Megan sings Zou Bisou Bisou at the suprise birthday party she throws for Don.  Don hates it. 

Megan is no fool.  She knows that, with Don, she needs to keep it interesting...

Very interesting.

Roger went on a trip.  Ditched the glamourpuss.

Betty doesn't look like this anymore. 

Everyone is on death watch this season.  My money is on Pete.  

This will all end badly.

Summertime Haze

The unofficial start of summer has arrived.  It is humid and hazy today and I'm feeling restless.  With my birthday a few weeks ago, I've been looking inwardly a lot more.  I've been reading more and more about letting go of the past, letting go of what I want, and purging the things and thoughts that are holding me back.  The notion of letting go to get what you want is very much appealing to me right now.  You still want it with all your heart, you just put it out there and then move on with your life.  I came across this quote and I think it perfectly sums up the power of letting go. I hope everyone has a wonderful and safe long weekend.
